Everyone at the team would like to congratulate Grant and Kelly Baillie on the news that they are expecting their first child. Hopefully he will have a boy and the wee man can continue the mantle of fittest player in the league if not the world lol. Congratulations.

Westwood Player of the Year / Race Night.
Westwood BB will be having an end of year bash (hopefully a cup winning party) at the Rolls Royce on Saturday 31st of May.
Tickets will be £3 a ticket with a disco and a buffet on the night as well.

| 16/02/2008 - Sad Day for Football Fans!! |
Some sad news for the true football fans i am afraid, Mark Mclaughlan has hung his boots up at the tender age of 29 and 3.5 years of service for the Mighty Westwood BB. Mark felt that the time was right to go out on a high after our convincing win against Avendale FC and he is looking to devote more time to his 10 week old son. His gain is our loss as we will no longer benefit from his vision and pin point accurate through balls.
On behalf of all the team i would like to wish you all the best for the future and hope to see you at some games or even training!!! |

| 05/12/2007 - Marky becomes a DADDY! |
On behalf of everyone who plays with Wessy we would like to congratulate Marky and his better half on the birth of their baby boy!!!!
I have been told that the 4 year old baby is already bigger than his daddy and has managed to out run him on several occassions.
We are all looking forward to wetting the babies head Marky......the cigars are on me mate!! |

After only lasting approx 30 mins on sat David Wilson has been ruled out of action for up to 6 weeks after tearing a muscle in his groin against Port Glasgow B. Good luck with the recovery Davie!! |
